Bachchan family bought 10 flats in Mulund, invested more than Rs 100 crore in real estate

Bollywood megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are in the news for their new real estate investment. These days, apart from their family relationships, the Bachchan family is also in the news for their realty deals. Now it is being said that Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan have bought not just one or two but 10 flats in Mumbai. According to reports, they have bought a property worth Rs 24.95 crore in Mulund West, Mumbai. This newly constructed apartment is part of Oberoi Realty’s premium residential project Eternia, offering 3 BHK and 4 BHK ready-to-move-in flats.

Bachchan family bought 10 apartments in Mulund West, Mumbai

According to media reports, the Bachchan family has purchased a total of 10 apartments here. The deal also includes two dedicated car parking spaces for each apartment. A total stamp duty of Rs 1.50 crore has been imposed on this project. It is being told that Abhishek Bachchan has bought six of these apartments, the price of which is said to be around Rs 14.77 crore, while Amitabh Bachchan has bought the remaining four apartments.

Estimated investment of Rs 219 crore

With these investments, the family’s investment in real estate has also increased. The year 2020 reportedly accounted for more than 25% of celebrity property transactions in Mumbai metropolis. It is being said that he/she has saved about 0.19 million square feet of property with an estimated investment of Rs 219 crore.

Investment of more than Rs 100 crore in real estate in 2024

The family has invested over Rs 100 crore in real estate in 2024 alone, including properties in Oshiwara and Magathane (Borivali East).

Apart from his/her residential investments, Amitabh Bachchan has also purchased a 10,000 square feet plot in Ayodhya at a cost of approximately Rs 14.5 crore.
