Right-handed batsman Babar played an innings of 44 runs in this match. Babar has become the highest run-scorer in T20 International cricket. he/she needed 16 runs in this match to leave Virat Kohli behind. The Pakistani captain has scored 4067 runs in 120 matches while Virat Kohli is second with 4038 runs in 118 matches and Rohit Sharma has slipped to third place with 4026 runs in 152 matches.

Babar Azam has scored 3 centuries and 36 half-centuries in 113 innings of T20 International matches. Kohli has one century and 37 half-centuries to his/her name while Rohit has scored 5 centuries and 36 half-centuries. Ireland captain Paul Stirling is at the fourth position in terms of scoring the most runs in T20 International matches. Stirling has scored 3591 runs in 143 matches while New Zealand’s Martin Guptill has scored 3531 runs in 122 matches.

USA beat Pakistan in Super Over
Mohammad Aamir bowled aimlessly in the super over and gave 18 runs including 7 wides. After which Saurabh Netravalkar gave America a five-run upset win over former champion Pakistan in a very exciting match of Group A of ICC T20 World Cup by giving away just 13 runs. This is America’s second consecutive win. In Aamir’s super over, America scored 18 runs for one wicket with the innings of Aaron James (11) and Harmeet Singh (00 not out). In response, Pakistan’s team could score only 13 runs for one wicket in Netravalkar’s over. Fakhar Zaman (00 not out), Iftikhar Ahmed (04) and Shadab Khan (03 not out) came out to bat for Pakistan.
