BA, BCom, Law, Medical… which university is number 1 for which course, see in NIRF ranking

India Ranking 2024 of the country’s universities and other higher education institutions will be released on August 12 this time. Some new categories have also been added to the ranking given under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). Also, this time a record number of more than 6500 institutions have participated. Higher education institutions will be ranked in many categories including engineering, pharmacy, management, architecture and planning, agriculture and allied sector, law, medical, dental, innovation, skill university. Open universities and general degree colleges have also applied for ranking this time. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will release the ranking of universities and colleges of the country. The list of top colleges and educational institutions of the country will be released in different categories. Now a lot of focus is being given on research in the country and research institutions are being specially encouraged by the government.

NIRF also impacts international rankings

India Ranking 2024 of the country’s higher education institutions will be the 9th consecutive edition. India Ranking of higher education institutions is being given continuously since 2016. Professor Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), said that gradually the number of applicants for India Ranking is increasing every year. Its effect is also being seen in the international ranking. The number of Indian institutions is also increasing in the ranking given at the international level. This time the parameters have been increased in the ranking system.

Research institutions are also given importance in India Ranking. Universities working in the field of innovation and research have also applied in large numbers. Apart from the overall category, all the major institutions of the country are ranked in many fields including universities, engineering, management, colleges, pharmacy, legal education.

Number of Indian institutions in QS rises to 46

Apart from India Ranking, QS World University Ranking is also very important. QS World University Ranking-2025 has been released, in which a significant improvement has been seen in the ranking of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and universities of the country. At the same time, if we look at the ranking list this time, the number of Indian educational institutions has increased to 46. While there were only 11 Indian universities in 2015, by 2025 their number has increased by 318 percent.
