Bharatpur : Talented cricket player Ashish Prajapat from Bharatpur district has been selected in the Under-16 Rajasthan cricket team. Ashish, who got a place in the Rajasthan team for the Vijay Merchant Trophy organized by BCCI, has achieved this position on the basis of his/her excellent bowling and batting. This competition will start from December 6 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, where Bharatpur’s Lal will show his/her mettle.

District Cricket Association Bharatpur Secretary Shatrughan Tiwari told Local 18 that Ashish is a right arm off spinner and middle order batsman. he/she performed brilliantly in the Under-16 Challenger Trophy and state level competitions organized by Rajasthan Cricket Association RCA, taking 37 wickets. Ashish’s team will play five matches in the competition. Rajasthan’s first match will be against Jharkhand on 6 December, after which the team will play matches against Uttarakhand, Vidarbha, Jammu and Kashmir and Karnataka. This trophy will be organized in the format of a three-day league match.
