New Delhi. Before the second Test match against India, Australia has included unknown all-rounder Beau Webster in its squad. Webster has been included in the Australian team as a replacement for injured Mitchell Marsh. In this five-match series, Marsh had suffered a muscle strain during the opening Test played in Perth. India won this match by 295 runs. Host Australia is behind 0-1 in the series.

Cricket.com.au quoted Beau Webster as saying, ‘It was nice to get some runs and wickets (for Australia A) against the strong Indian team. Whenever you play for the ‘A’ team, it is one level below Test, so it puts you in a good position. It was a really proud moment for me to get a phone call from ‘Belles’ (men’s selection chairman George Bailey) after the match against NSW was over. I am eagerly waiting to join the team.
