New Delhi. Two Indian cricket teams are on Australia tour these days. The Indian men’s team has given the Kangaroos sleepless nights by crushing Australia badly in the very first test match of the tour. The women’s team has not had a good start. The Indian women’s team, playing under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, collapsed for 100 runs in the first ODI match on Thursday.

In the first ODI match played against Australia in Brisbane, Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bat first. The team did not like his/her decision. The Indian team lost the wicket of vice captain Smriti Mandhana (8) at the score of 9. After this it seemed as if there was a fall of wickets. Jemimah Rodrigues (23) and Richa Ghosh took the team, which had lost 4 wickets for 62 runs, to 89 runs. At that time it seemed that India might make a score worth fighting for. But this did not happen.
