A major aspect of this initiative is the introduction of ‘Work and Holiday Visa’ for Indian citizens. Under AI-ECTA, Australia is going to grant 1000 multiple-entry ‘Work and Holiday Visa’ (Subclass 462) to Indian citizens every year. Under this visa, young people will get the opportunity to work temporarily along with traveling in Australia. This visa is valid for 12 months i.e. one year. During this period, visa holders can not only work in Australia, but will also be given the opportunity to study.
