Canada lags behind Australia and America

IDP Education conducted a survey between August 20, 2024 and September 16, 2024. The results revealed that Australia and America are the most preferred destinations for students planning to go abroad for higher education. Both these countries have left Canada behind. According to the survey, questions were asked to students and parents on important subjects. They were asked questions ranging from the visa policy of a country to the reason for choosing the university there.

More than 6000 people from 114 countries responded to the survey. Among the people who were part of this survey, 56 percent were postgraduate and 27 percent were undergraduate level students. The thing to note here is that 66 percent of the people who answered the questions said that they were considering more than one country for studying abroad. This indicates that people are also thinking deeply about things like visa policies and job opportunities after studies.
