AUD PhD Admission 2024: Ambedkar University PhD form released, admission will be available directly through UGC NET.

BR Ambedkar University PhD Admission 2024 Last Date: Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has opened the window for PhD admission. There are a total of 17 PhD programs in the university for which admissions will be taken. From this time, Dr. BR Ambedkar University will do admission for PhD program on the basis of UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) score. Till last year, these admissions were based on the score of entrance test. Ambedkar University is a government university, which comes under the Delhi Government. This university has four campuses. In all these, PhD courses are run in different subjects. The last date to apply online for all these is 26 November 2024.

Ambedkar University PhD Course List

• PhD programs in Film Studies, Development Studies, Economics, Hindi, History, Human Ecology, Literary Arts, Management, Mathematics, Performance Studies, Sociology, Women and Gender Studies are offered at the Kashmiri Gate campus of the university.
• PhD education program will be taught in Lodhi Road.
• PhD Legal Studies/PhD Law, PhD Public Health and PhD Urban Studies programs will be offered at the Karampura Campus.
• Students can become PhD Heritage Studies students at Qutub Institution Area Campus.

How much are the seats in Ambedkar University PhD?

There will be PhD admissions for a total of 92 seats. The maximum number of seats each for PhD programs in Education, Urban Studies, Human Ecology and Sociology is 10 each.

UGC had decided in April this year that universities can also do PhD admission on the basis of NET score. After this, AUD also took the decision of admission on the same basis. From this year onwards, UGC has made provision for PhD in NET apart from teaching eligibility and NET JRF. Recently NET result has come, after which AUD Delhi has started the admission process for PhD.
