At what level 50% women reservation in third class teacher recruitment, Education Minister clarified

Jaipur: Before coming to power, the BJP had promised to take big steps towards women empowerment and make them self-reliant. In December 2023, the BJP government was formed in the state and Bhajanlal Sharma became the Chief Minister. On June 14, a day before the completion of his/her six-month term, CM Bhajanlal Sharma made a big announcement. he/she announced 50 percent reservation for women in third class teacher recruitment.

As soon as the government announced 50 percent reservation for women, thousands of male youth started protesting. Protests started in many districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Barmer, Nagaur. Seeing the protest, the Education Minister has clarified that no youth of the state will be harmed due to the reservation given to women.

Reservation will be given only in Level 1st – Education Minister

Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that some people are spreading misconceptions about the reservation given to women, due to which some youth are protesting. Dilawar clarified that 50 percent reservation in the third category has been given only in level one. That is, teachers who teach children from first class to fifth class.

There is a provision to give 50% reservation to women in the recruitment of those teachers. Since when small children of primary and pre-primary study from a female teacher, they will feel better than a male teacher. Women also take full responsibility of children at home.

Women take care of both the responsibilities of children’s home and school very well. In such a situation, for the convenience of children and to make women empowered and self-reliant, it has been decided to give 50 percent reservation to women in Level One recruitment.

There are many other recruitments for all categories:

Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that giving 50 percent reservation to women in only one recruitment will not harm anyone. Because nowadays every family has educated young women. If they get the opportunity of employment, they will be able to take care of their family and children better than men. Dilawar said that there is no shortage of recruitments for the male category.

There are dozens of posts in the education department including third class teacher recruitment level two, senior teacher recruitment, school lecturer recruitment, principal, where men are being given ample job opportunities. Dilawar said that the youth who are opposing this decision of the government should ask their mother and sister once whether giving 50 percent reservation to women is right or wrong.

Ever since Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced 50 percent reservation for women, women are happy. Dozens of women organizations and public representatives are coming to Jaipur to express their gratitude to the Chief Minister. Two days ago, CM Bhajanlal Sharma, who attended the teachers’ convention, told the male youth that they need not be disappointed. The government will issue vacancies every month. As the employees and officers working in different departments retire, the vacant posts will be filled by issuing vacancies.
