At present, Congress will not attack the Election Commission, upset with Haryana results, know the new strategy of the party.

New Delhi: The Congress party, continuing its old tune over Haryana’s defeat, refused to accept the result. Rahul Gandhi also pointed fingers at the Election Commission in his/her first reaction through his/her X handle on the second day of the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. However, now the attitude of Congress has changed slightly. It decided in the review meeting on Thursday that it will stop attacking the Election Commission until concrete evidence of EVM tampering is found.

Internal tussle in Congress over EVM malfunction

In fact, voices started being raised from within the Congress itself that the leadership mismanagement was clearly visible in Haryana due to which the party had to face defeat there. Due to this internal tussle over the election results, the Congress leadership was forced to refrain from raising questions on the Election Commission for the time being. Instead, it was decided that the party would form a technical team to investigate the complaints and shortcomings of the candidates.

Awaiting the report of the fact finding committee

This information has been given in a statement issued by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. The party has already complained to the Election Commission. Parallel to the Election Commission, the Congress technical team will also investigate this. “The Congress Party will issue a detailed response based on the report of the Fact Finding (Technical Team),” Kharge’s statement said.

What is this stance of Congress on exit polls?

Interestingly, the top leadership of the Congress had strongly criticized the exit polls to claim a big victory of the BJP in the Lok Sabha, but when the exit polls of Haryana turned out to be wrong, instead of criticizing them like before, they took the Election Commission to the dock. I stood up. That is, according to the Congress leadership, the exit polls showing BJP’s victory are fake and if BJP loses in the exit polls then the Election Commission is right, but the exit polls which show Congress winning are absolutely accurate and if Congress loses in the actual results then the Election Commission is wrong. It happens.

Maken said – the results are surprising

Ajay Maken, who was an observer of the Congress Party in the Haryana Assembly elections, kept harping on exit polls in his/her statements. he/she said, ‘We gathered to review the Haryana election results. You know what was predicted in exit polls, opinion polls and surveys. The results are astonishing. The difference between exit polls and actual results is huge. We have discussed it and its reasons. We will discuss further also.

Haryana leaders not invited to the meeting

The Congress party on Thursday held a meeting at the house of national president Mallikarjun Kharge to discuss the Haryana Assembly election results. Apart from Kharge, it included Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Ajay Maken, Deepak Bawariya and Ashok Gehlot. No leader from Haryana was invited to attend it. To gather information about what happened in Haryana, only officers appointed by the national leadership were called there. Haryana leaders like Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja, Randeep Surjewala can be called in the next meeting.
