College Professor Eligibility: Qualification

To apply for these posts, candidates must have a PhD degree in the relevant field. Apart from this, experience has also been prescribed for different posts. For Professor, 10 years of experience in which 4 years should be Assistant Professor and other publications related experience. Whereas for Associate Professor, there should be 6 years experience with PhD, for Assistant Professor Grade-I, there should be 3 years experience with PhD. However, for Assistant Professor Grade-II, candidates who have done PhD are eligible to apply.

Associate Professor Salary: Selection Process

• Salary- Selected candidates will be given salary ranging from Rs 73,100/- to Rs 2,20,200/- depending on the post.
• Selection Process- Candidates on these posts will be selected on the basis of shortlisting, screening test, presentation and interview.
• Application fee- There is no application fee for SC, ST, PwBD Women and SVNIT Faculty. Whereas candidates of all other categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000.
