India vs Nepal Live: India has set a target of 203 runs for Nepal in the first quarter-final being played in the men’s cricket event at the Asian Games 2023. For India, opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal batted brilliantly and scored 100 runs in just 49 balls. Here Shivam Dubey and Rinku Singh also played brilliant innings.
Indian captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and chose to bat first. The Indian team made a strong start here and for the first wicket, Yashasvi and Ruturaj made a partnership of 103 runs in 9.5 overs. Captain Ruturaj gave up his wicket on this score. At one time the Indian team had lost 4 wickets for 150 runs in 16.2 overs. From here Shivam Dubey and Rinku Singh took charge. Both the batsmen made an unbeaten partnership of 52 runs in 22 balls and took Team India beyond 200. Shivam Dubey scored 25 runs on 19 balls, while Rinku Singh played an excellent inning of 37 runs on 15 balls.
Dipendra Singh bowled effectively for Nepal. He took two wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs. Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami got one wicket each.
