Recently, one of their pictures went viral on social media, in which all three actresses are riding a houseboat ‘Shikara’ in Dal Lake. In their time, they used to shoot films on the lush green fields and lake of Kashmir. All three actresses remembered these old days. For Asha Parekh, apart from hill stations like Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, this lake is a reminder of ‘light, camera and action’. One of her most superhit films ‘Dil Deke Dekho’ was shot in Kashmir in 1959. In fact, the reason for her romantic relationship with ‘Dil Deke Dekho’ director Nasir Hussain is her long association with Kashmir.
