Article: Rahul needs everyone, the Leader of the Opposition will have to grow aggressively

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s speech in Parliament on Monday gives a glimpse of the real politician hidden inside him/her. he/she referred to the failure of governments on unemployment and the failure of a scheme like ‘Make in India’ in a very dramatic but strict style. Instead of properly organizing the production properly, he/she criticized him/her for ‘handling’ to China in a way. It was the same as the Leader of the Opposition is expected to speech. But this was the speech. The form of Rahul usually appears inside and outside the Parliament is that of an aggressive leader.

Opposition to the system:
Recently, at the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Congress’ Indira Bhavan ‘, Rahul Gandhi put a big message in front of the party leaders,’ Do not think that we are fighting a straightforward, just battle … Now we are BJP, RSS Along with this, one has to fight the Indian state (system). Interestingly, the heir of the Gandhi family looked not like grandmother Indira Gandhi, but her staunch opponent Jayaprakash Narayan. Well, this statement of Rahul gave BJP a good chance. he/she immediately started chanting the melody of Urban Naxal and George Soros-network. he/she tried to call the Congress leader involved in the conspiracy to ‘break the country’ and ‘divide the society’.Emergency like conditions: From the perspective of Rahul Gandhi, the time of 2025 is similar to some 1975. Due to the over centralization of power, the constitution seems to be in danger. Common people, especially youth, are troubled by unemployment and ever increasing inflation. At the same time, backward castes and Dalit communities have started getting rid of the strong hold of the ruling party. Is these things really power?

Lack of solidarity: From the perspective of history, some similarities are seen. But then the question arises as to why this spark of revolution could not show its color in the elections of Haryana and Maharashtra last year. In other words, why did Rahul Gandhi not prove to be effective like Jayaprakash Narayan (JP)? The first and direct reason is that when JP’s ‘entire revolution’ was going on in 1974-75, the entire opposition was completely united behind him/her. Today’s reality is completely opposite.

No partner parties together: TMC, SP, and Shiv Sena (UBT) are also standing with the Aam Aadmi Party in the TMC, SP, and Shiv Sena (UBT) Delhi elections in the opposition parties. Another example of this was seen when Rahul Gandhi held a rally ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhima, Jai Constitution’ in Mhow this month, there was no big ally with the Congress on the stage.

Contradiction in Congress: JP’s strength was in the fact that he/she had become the voice of the entire opposition, while Rahul Gandhi is not being able to become the authentic voice of his/her own party. he/she promises caste census in Delhi, but his/her own government is avoiding issuing caste survey reports in Karnataka. It has been more than a year, but CM Siddaramaiah is unable to muster the courage to release this report as he/she is afraid of the displeasure of the powerful castes of the state. In the same way, Rahul Gandhi continued to fire against Adani Group and on the other hand his/her Telangana government made a deal of 12,400 crores with that group.

Future glimpse: The good thing is that Rahul Gandhi does not need to become JP. JP’s charismatic figure was made up of devotion to his/her followers. Rahul Gandhi’s charisma, especially during the India’s journey, came with his/her energy and young enthusiasm. he/she gives a glimpse of a different future. But they have not been able to explain it completely. The problem is that whenever Rahul Gandhi is aggressive against the current system, the clarity of his/her vision is lost.

The issue of unemployment: In a national survey conducted last year, 71% of people admitted that unemployment is a serious problem. This is a constant continuing crisis for the youth in India. Therefore, thousands of applications come on a recruitment. But opposition parties have not been able to unite this restless youth, as it is not organized like farmers.

Still chance: Rahul Gandhi still has a chance. he/she can fold the energy of angry youth in the right direction. If it raises issues such as unemployment, examination paper leaks, poor conditions of school-colleges and weak development of small-middle industries continuously and strongly, it will affect it.

Need to show strength: Rahul Gandhi has improved his/her speech style, patience and political understanding in the last decade. Now he/she does not seem to be new-wide and inexperienced leaders of the UPA era. But still he/she is unable to show his/her full political strength. The challenges of the current situation either fall slightly less or stand back from the main front.
