Article: Kumbh is an opportunity for global branding of the country

Vishesh Gupta, New Delhi: The historic Mahakumbh is going to begin in Prayagraj from the festival of Makar Sankranti. This will be the biggest religious, spiritual and cultural event not only in India but in the entire world. This time there is a possibility of 40-45 crore devotees gathering in it.Means of salvation: Many types of events and purposes are organized for the continuity of culture in the country. Pilgrimage and fairs are initiatives to enrich and expand Indian culture. According to Hindu theology, attainment of salvation through purushartha has been the ultimate desire of man. Bathing in Kumbh is also a sacred means of attaining salvation.

Unity formula: Kumbh unites the diversity of Indian culture from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. This festival has been acting as a sacred bridge between different languages, thought traditions, customs and beliefs, social and religious education and spiritual contemplation. Today in the country there is a competition among different religions and cultures to prove themselves superior. At such a time, events like Kumbh encapsulate the religious, cultural and spiritual tolerance of India.

Opportunity to attain virtue: Bathing in Ganga on Kumbh is not just a bath, it is a dip in the holy river through which a person moves from sin to virtue. It is believed that nectar descends on the earth during the time of Kumbh. The desire to attain this nectar attracts devotees from all over the world towards Kumbh. Kumbh is a huge pillar of our ancient Indian civilization, which illuminates the path to the progress of religion and spirituality. These are the expansion of India’s knowledge. This is the reason why saints and ascetics associated with various monasteries and monks come together, forgetting their differences of opinion, and take a royal bath.

Unparalleled Discipline: There is no political, social, religious or economic organization in the world which can claim to mobilize 30-40 crore people and maintain discipline among them. This achievement is only part of the Kumbh, where devotees come listening to the voice of their soul and filled with faith. Kumbh not only reflects the eminence of India’s pious culture, it also heralds the tradition of religious and spiritual dialogue between different communities.

Aquarius will guide: This time this event is being organized at a time when we are facing challenges like global warming, environmental pollution, water crisis, terrorism and extremism. The country’s collectivity, community, religious and spiritual structure, faith, traditions, values and rituals are struggling for its Indian identity. Not only this, the increasing distance between the old and new generations has also become a cause for concern. In such a time, Mahakumbh will definitely show the way.

Golden Opportunity:
This time the event to be held in Sangam city will be hi-tech. CM Yogi Adityanath believes that we have a golden opportunity to properly observe the eternal culture of India through Mahakumbh. This event will become an important medium for global branding not only of Uttar Pradesh but also of India. This time new standards of cleanliness, safety and facilities are expected to be set. To make Mahakumbh divine and grand, it has been declared a new district.

Happy coincidence:
This Mahakumbh is a collective manifestation of the great religious, cultural and spiritual culture of India. It is a matter of great joy for the country that during the Maha Kumbh itself, one year of the grand temple built in Ayodhya of Lord Shri Ram, the soul of Indian Sanatan culture, will be completed. It is also a pleasant coincidence that the birthplace of Shri Ram is in Uttar Pradesh and this time Mahakumbh is also being organized in this state. Therefore, in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, there is going to be not only a tripartite meeting of three sacred rivers but also a great meeting of two eternal cultures. There is no hesitation in saying that this Mahakumbh will prove to be a great opportunity to get the bright image of the nation accepted and appreciated at the global level.
