Are you planning to get PR in Canada? Two new programs started to provide permanent residents to skill workers

Canada new PR route: Another door has been opened to permanently settle skill workers in Canada. Immigration Minister Mark Miller has announced two new immigration programs, through which people will get Permanent Residency (PR). It has the first ‘Rural Community Immigration Pilot’ (RCIP) and the second ‘Frankone Community Immigration Pilot’ (FCIP). The aim of these two programs is to permanently settle skill workers in rural and French -speaking areas.

The government has chosen 18 areas, where there is a shortage of workers. The Canadian government wants not only to give jobs to skill workers in these areas, but also provided permanent residents. There are many sectors and areas in Canada where there are no working people. In such circumstances, the government has to depend on foreign skill workers. The government has taken this step when the current ‘Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot’ is working on making a permanent program.

What are both Canadian PR programs?

To know the answer to this question, first of all, let’s talk about the ‘Rural Community Immigration Pilot’ (RCIP), which aim to help the rural areas where there is a shortage of laborers. Through RCIP, local business will get skill workers, who are going to work to strengthen rural areas financially.

There is a preparation to bring French -speaking immigrants into the country through ‘Frankone Community Immigration Pilot’ (FCIP), so that the number of Frenchphone communities can be increased outside Quebec. Frankone means those who speak French language. Canada wants to preserve linguistic and cultural fabrics through this.

Can Indians also apply for PR?

Now the biggest question arises here whether Indians can also apply for both these programs in Canada. The answer is yes. But for Permanent Residency, they will also have to fulfill the conditions. Before the application for PR, the applicant should have a job offer of a company. It is also necessary to have a work experience and it is also mandatory to have information about the language. Indians will have to show all the necessary documents related to studies and provide proof of adequate funds to settle in Canada.

Indian healthcare workers including nurses and home support workers can apply for some special roles only. Applicants should also have a two -year work permit, so that they are able to work at least in Canada when their permanent residency application is being processed. Applications for RCIP and FCIP are also going to start soon. Indians who have to settle in Canada can check the official website of IRCC for updates related to both programs.
