Are they getting closer to BJP or are they planning something else, what is on Nitish-Naidu’s mind?

New Delhi: Nitish-Naidu… There is probably no need to tell how important these two leaders are for BJP. Though there are many parties in NDA in Modi 3.0, Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Nitish’s JDU have a special place. Ever since the Lok Sabha results came out on June 4, there has been a lot of speculation about these two parties. The meaning of every statement of Nitish-Naidu is interpreted in political circles. Recently, these two leaders have taken such steps which some people are seeing as their growing closeness with BJP, while some people are considering it as a different strategy.

Which way should Nitish and Naidu move forward
Both Nitish and Naidu have recently taken such steps which are being seen as an attempt to woo the Hindu vote bank. Naidu raised the issue alleging that animal fat was found in Tirupati temple’s laddu. Meanwhile, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has praised Prime Minister Modi for the construction of Ram temple. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has made serious allegations against his/her rival YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Nitish praised after 8 months
Naidu says that when Reddy’s government was in power, animal fat was mixed in the laddus distributed in the Tirupati temple. On the other hand, about eight months after the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and praised him/her for the construction of the temple. Nitish has also mentioned in his/her letter his/her government’s plan for the development of Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi, which is considered to be the birthplace of Mother Sita.

Is Jagan not the only target of Naidu?
Jagan Mohan was on Chandrababu Naidu’s target because he/she is still the leader of the main opposition party in the state. The condition of the party is bad after the Lok Sabha elections and Naidu wants to hurt it further. Apart from this, there is also the Pawan Kalyan factor. Andhra Deputy CM and Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Pawan Kalyan has emerged as a prominent face in the state. his/her relations with BJP are also strong. PM Modi also praised him/her and said that it is not Pawan but a storm. When the Tirupati Laddu controversy broke out, the actor-turned-politician Kalyan appeared more aggressive. In such a situation, it is believed that Chandrababu Naidu did not take this step without any reason. he/she wants to strengthen his/her hold among the Hindu votes.

BJP leaders are also surprised by Nitish’s statement

Why did Nitish Kumar say this after 8 months? Modi’s praise for the Ram temple and the demand for a direct rail link between Sitamarhi and Ayodhya has also raised apprehensions in the minds of Bihar BJP leaders. BJP leaders feel that Nitish Kumar may try to make inroads into the vote bank on the basis of which BJP performed well in the Lok Sabha elections. Nitish Kumar has never made such a comment before. For the last eight months, despite being an alliance partner, he/she has remained silent. Now if he/she is saying such a thing, then there must be some reason behind it.
