AR Rahman’s divorce has nothing to do with Mohini Dey… Saira Banu’s lawyer revealed

AR Rahman and his/her wife Saira Banu announced divorce last Tuesday. his/her lawyer Vandana Shah has made many revelations. She also broke her silence on the connection between AR Rahman-Saira Banu’s divorce and Mohini Dey’s divorce and also said that there has been no discussion regarding money yet. Vandana Shah while talking to Republic TV said, ‘Absolutely not. , there is no connection between the two. Saira and AR Rahman have taken this decision themselves. Let us tell you that after the divorce of AR Rahman, his/her team’s guitarist Mohini Dey also announced divorce with her husband, after which people started speculating whether there is any relation between them.

Vandana also told that AR Rahman and Saira Banu have not reached any financial agreement yet. But this will be an ‘amicable’ split.

Saira Banu’s lawyer said that divorce was a painful decision for both of them. he/she said, ‘When a marriage ends it is a painful decision. No one is happy when a marriage breaks up. Divorce is not an occasion to celebrate. Saira had to face a lot of ups and downs in this marriage.

‘AR Rahman has been a protective husband’

Vandana also told that she is not free to tell the real reason for divorce. She said, ‘he/she has been a protective husband. She has been a good wife. I don’t need to speculate. I know the real reason, but I can’t discuss it. Both of them are committed to living a better life with or without each other. Let us tell you that AR Rahman and Saira got married in the year 1995. They have three children – Khatija, Rahima and Amin.
