IMD has predicted light fog on Saturday and the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 26 degrees and 10 degrees. With the trend of warmer months than normal continuing, the month of November this year was the hottest in the last 8 years. According to IMD, the average maximum temperature recorded in November was 29.5 degrees Celsius. This is the highest since 2016.

IMD Mumbai scientist Sushma Nair said that earlier this weather center had recorded the minimum temperature of 16.3 degrees Celsius on November 11, 2016. he/she said that from today till December 3, there is no ‘alert’ regarding cold wave in Maharashtra and the temperature will not increase.

Apart from this, IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in North and Central Kerala in the coming days and has issued ‘Orange Alert’ for seven districts on December 1. The districts for which ‘Orange Alert’ has been issued on December 1 include Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad.
