Anywhere Cashless scheme will provide hassle-free medical treatment in any hospital

Mumbai, March 23, 2023: ICICI Lombard, one of the leading private sector general insurance companies in India, has announced the launch of its latest feature, “Anywhere Cashless” for its health insurance policy holders. This is a first of its kind initiative in the insurance industry. Under this new facility, customers can avail cashless facilities at any hospital, even if it is not a part of ICICI Lombard’s existing network of hospitals. In this, customers will not have to bear any expense from their pocket.

The “Anywhere Cashless” facility is subject to acceptance of the cashless facility by the hospital. Policyholders need to inform the company 24 hours prior to the date of hospitalization to use this facility. After which they can provide basic information about the patient, policy details, name of the hospital, diagnosis, treating doctor, etc. This facility can be accessed through the IL TakeCare app under the ‘Services We Offer’ section. This facility was initially launched as a pilot project and can now be availed through the IL TakeCare app across India.

From the customer’s point of view, the cashless facility anywhere has removed the hassle of same day deposits, paying all expenses, collecting receipts for all principal payments and coordinating with the insurance company to understand every minute detail. has been abolished. It provides a hassle-free experience through all aspects from hospital admission to discharge. This gives customers the opportunity to choose a nearby or recommended hospital and focus on the well-being of their family, rather than having to deal with insurance details at the time of treatment.
