After returning to India in style on Wednesday morning, Anushka Sharma attended an event in Mumbai in the evening. During a conversation at the event, the actress opened up about her family life and how she and her husband, star cricketer Virat Kohli, cook for their children Vamika and Akay to pass on their mother’s cooking to them. She also discussed her plans to maintain a routine for her children. Speaking at the event, Anushka Sharma said, “There was this discussion at our house that if we don’t make the food our mothers cook at home, we won’t be able to pass on these dishes to our children. So, sometimes I cook and sometimes my husband cooks and we try to replicate the way our mothers did. I call my mother and ask her for the recipe and ask for a little bit, but it’s very important. It’s like you’re passing on something valuable to your children.”

She also revealed how she maintains a routine for her kids, despite frequent trips as a family. Anushka said, “I am very strict about routine. We go on a lot of family trips and my kids enjoy all of it. So, by creating a routine for them, I am giving them a feeling of control. Meal timings are fixed – no matter where we are, we eat at the same time and sleep at the same time. This helps them regulate themselves better.”

Have Anushka-Virat shifted to UK?

Anushka has returned to India this time without her children and Virat Kohli. This is her second visit to India after the birth of her son Akay. She was previously in India for the IPL in May. There are rumours that Anushka and Virat have shifted to the UK and the couple is often seen roaming the streets of London.

Anushka has not appeared in films since 2018’s ‘Zero’. She is going to be seen in ‘Chakda Express’. The shooting of the film has ended some time ago.
