Annu Kapoor in ‘Chak De! Expressed anger on ‘India’ – make Muslims look good and make fun of Pandits


Annu Kapoor, famous for his/her outspoken style, recently appeared in Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Chak De! Gave such a statement regarding ‘India’ which has created a stir. he/she has said that in India, efforts are made to show Muslims in a good role, while Pandits are made fun of. Annu Kapoor said ‘Chak de! Despite ‘India’ being the story of a Hindu coach, the makers deliberately made the Muslim look good. This statement of Annu Kapoor is being discussed everywhere. This has become a point of debate on social media. he/she said these things in an interview given to ANI. During the conversation he/she said ‘Chak De! Showed displeasure about ‘India’. This film, released in 2007, was directed by Shimit Amin. Shahrukh Khan played the role of hockey team coach Kabir Khan in the film.

he/she further said, ‘This is what happens in India. They try to show Muslims in a good role and make fun of a Pandit. After this, to put a label on it, they start talking about the ideas of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb i.e. Hindu-Muslim unity.
