Angelina Jolie withdraws ‘domestic violence’ case against Brad Pitt, accused of assault on plane

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has withdrawn the case against her ex-husband Brad Pitt related to the 2016 plane incident. This is the same case, after which Angelina filed a divorce petition from Brad Pitt. The actress had then said that whatever happened that day on the plane, that was the end of their relationship.’E! According to News’ report, the actress has given a petition to the Department of Justice and FBI to withdraw the case. There is excitement among the fans and fans of both of them regarding this news. Legal process for case dismissal completed

The report states that court documents have finalized the legal process for the case to be dismissed. It has also been decided in this agreement that both the parties will bear the legal fees and expenses related to this case.

Angelina filed a case in 2022, these were the allegations against Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie filed this lawsuit in April 2022. In this case filed under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the actress was identified in the court as an anonymous ‘Jane Doe’. This case was related to an alleged domestic violence incident that took place on a private jet. Elaborating on her claim in court, Angelina had said that during a flight, Brad Pitt had allegedly ‘physically and verbally attacked’ her and their children.

Brad Pitt denied the allegations

Angelina had said in the court that due to this incident she suffered ‘physical and mental injury’. The allegations are in an FBI report released after the flight from Europe to Los Angeles on September 14, 2016. Despite the serious nature of the allegations, federal authorities decided not to bring any charges against Brad Pitt. The actor continuously denied the allegations against him/her.

Divorce application was filed five days after the incident

Following the same plane incident, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, 2016. It said that the two separated the very next day of this incident. However, after a long legal battle, both were legally declared ‘single’ in 2019.
