Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is selling her old Ferrari. It will be presented in Paris on November 20 and will be auctioned there. Angelina Jolie owns a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT with coachwork by Pininfarina S.p.A. According to the sales catalogue, the wire-spoke Ferrari was produced from 1955 to 1960 and is the 11th model. But there is not much information related to the auction yet. But it is certain that Angelina Jolie’s expensive car is being sold. The Ferrari 250 GT coupe model, first presented at the 1958 Paris Motor Show, came with a 12-cylinder, 240-horsepower engine. The sporty two-door replaced Ferrari’s Boano and Elena coupes and showcased a new vehicle from Pininfarina design house, which had recently opened another factory in Grugliasco, Italy.

The car still has the original engine

In a phone call and email exchange, a Christie’s spokesperson confirmed that the car had its original engine but was repainted white and blue in 1978. The black interior has been changed to red. However, Christie refused to say how long the actress had owned the car or whether she had ever used it. Its price in the auction is expected to be between Rs 5.5 crore to Rs 7.3 crore.

Ferrari will be available from these days

According to Hagerty Inc., the value of a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT model has dropped in the last year. Its price has reduced from Rs 4 crore 41 lakh in October 2023 to Rs 3 crore 44 lakh today. A drop in price typically reflects a cooling market for collector cars. The car will be available to the public at Christie’s showroom in Paris on 14, 16 and 20 November.
