Anderson can play in Major League Cricket in America

London. It seems impossible to break the record of former England fast bowler James Anderson, who is among the world’s greatest fast bowlers. Playing 188 Test matches and taking 704 Test wickets is not going to be easy for any bowler. This veteran played international cricket till the age of 41 and then announced his/her retirement after setting a number of records. Now this legend can be seen playing again in America.

Former England fast bowler James Anderson may return to T20 cricket after a decade. A team from America’s Major League Cricket (MLC) has shown interest in signing him/her for the 2025 season. The 42-year-old retired from international cricket in July. he/she played his/her last match in limited overs cricket in 2019. As far as T20 cricket is concerned, his/her last match in this format was the NatWest Blast final for Lancashire in 2014. Anderson played his/her last T20 match for England in 2009.

According to a BBC Sports report, “Anderson had hinted at a return to limited overs cricket last month. After this, an MLC franchise team has shown interest in his/her services.”

Anderson has taken 704 wickets in 188 Test matches. he/she can get a huge amount of 135,000 pounds for playing in the MLC. This England fast bowler said last month that he/she is still fit enough to continue his/her career in cricket and can consider returning to limited overs cricket. Players like Australian captain Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head played in the second season of the MLC.
