Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal was founded by a group of local fishermen and traders. This mandal was established in 1934 in Lalbagh market. Every year the idol of Lalbaug Raja is installed in Pitlabai Chawl in Mumbai. At this time it becomes the most famous pandal of Mumbai. Lakhs of people reach here for darshan. Ganpati festival lasts for 10 days and then Bappa is immersed with great pomp.

There are usually two lines in this pandal: one for Mukh Darshan and the other for Navasachi. Navasachi is for those who want to go closer to the Lord and worship him/her by touching his/her feet. The Navasachi line takes a little longer to reach the idol, about 20-25 hours.

Evening Puja: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Morning Aarti: 7:00 am to 7:15 am
Afternoon Aarti: 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM
Evening Aarti: 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM.
