Talking to reporters at the spot, Singh said, “We had come to know that an abandoned vehicle was found in Salema village. The key of the vehicle was also lying there. The Punjab government on Saturday launched a major crackdown against Amritpal and arrested 78 members of an organization led by him/her, officials said. he/she told that Amritpal’s convoy was stopped in Jalandhar district, but he/she escaped by dodging the police.
