Amitabh Bachchan made Prabhas dance to his/her tune in Kalki 2898 AD, but this Arjun did not suit him/her

‘Kalki 2898 AD’, a film of about three hours. This movie which released in theatres on 27th June in five languages, collected 95 crores nationwide and 180 crores worldwide. Apart from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan also appeared in important roles in Nag Ashwin’s directed movie. The story of this movie was such that we would not even be alive on earth to see it. It means that an event that will happen after 6000 years has been shown. When Lord Kalki will be born. If you have seen it, you will have a different perspective. But in my opinion, it should not be called Prabhas’s movie. Because the magic that 81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan has done, gave me goosebumps. When the movie starts, it seems that what is being shown. Till the interval, it seems that there is something going on and we are watching it just to see because the hype of this movie was created very strongly. But what was seen in the subsequent part left us speechless. Some castings in the film seem to have been done forcibly. Which was not needed at all. Especially Vijay Deverakonda, who was brought on screen as Arjun. Seeing him/her, it felt as if a bitter almond had entered the mouth and the mood got spoiled. Disha Patani also appears on screen for some time, but her presence also seems useless.

It was fun to see Amitabh Bachchan

There is a huge age difference between Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. But still Big B left ‘Bahubali’ behind. Prabhas has only messed up his/her career. he/she got his/her first hit film because of SS Rajamouli and all the films after that flopped. Then came ‘Salaar’ and his/her sinking boat was saved. Now this Kalki 2898 AD will also be a success. But it will not be because of him/her alone. Amitabh Bachchan’s screen presence was fun to watch. It felt like the era of Angry Young Man has come back. The Amitabh of the 70s-80s is back. The action scenes he/she did. The fight scenes. Wow. Guru was a hit.

Nag Ashwin should have done a little more work

There was no different feeling after seeing Deepika Padukone. Even the facial expressions did not change because she looked the same in real life. Kalki Bhagwan is growing in her womb, who can be born in the second part, which will come in who knows in which era. But Amitabh Bachchan overshadowed everyone. Kamal Haasan’s character was also good but he/she was shown very little. he/she will probably be seen for a long time in Part-2. Overall, the cameo that Nag Ashwin did, should not have been done. Secondly, a little more work should have been done on Prabhas’ dialogues.
