Amit Malviya calls Congress a ‘ruined party’, takes taunt for raising questions on Election Commission’s data


New Delhi: BJP government is going to be formed once again in Haryana. In the election results till 1 pm, BJP has got lead on 51 seats. Meanwhile, Congress raised questions on the Election Commission regarding the data related to the result, to which BJP leader Amit Malviya replied. In fact, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had tweeted that the Election Commission was deliberately uploading the results data on its website late. This is so that BJP leaders can put pressure on the administration. When Amit Malviya was asked about these questions, he/she said that whenever Congress loses elections, it starts crying by making some excuse or the other. Amit Malviya said that this is an old habit of Congress. Sometimes raising questions on EVMs, sometimes doubting the Election Commission… Congress Party has an old habit of crying. Votes have been cast in favor of BJP in Haryana. Of the 41 seats won in 2019, BJP is leading in 28.

What did Jairam Ramesh say?

Earlier, Jairam Ramesh tweeted and wrote, ‘Like the Lok Sabha elections, the trends of Haryana are also slowly being uploaded on the website of the Central Election Commission. Is BJP trying to put pressure on the administration by showing old and misleading trends? Jairam Ramesh also lodged his/her complaint in this regard by writing a letter to the Election Commission. However, the Election Commission termed this complaint as baseless.

BJP crosses majority

According to the Election Commission website, BJP is currently leading on 50 seats with victory on 2 seats. At the same time, Congress has lead on 35 seats in Haryana with the victory of 2 seats. INLD and BSP are leading on one seat each. Apart from these, independent candidates are leading on three seats in Haryana.
