Spin dominated on both Nagpur and Cuttack grounds

  • Jadeja, Akshar, Varun took 4 wickets in 26 overs.
  • Spin bowlers dominated both Nagpur and Cuttack.

New Delhi. Either the batsman can be dismissed and the rungall can be curbed either by stopping the freedom to play big shots by bowling on the Sadhi line length. On one side on the ground of Cuttack, while Indian fast bowlers were being beaten up, Indian spinners kept working to bring the team back to the match.

Amar Akbar Anthony of Team India’s spin department i.e. Jadeja, Akshar and Varun Barabati bowled brilliantly under adverse circumstances. On one hand, where Mohammed Shami, Harshit Rana and Hardik were scoring, these three cleverly bowled and worked to curb the runs. It seemed at once that England would cross 350 runs, but Firki’s fingers did not allow this to happen. The role of all three was important in covering the innings of England at 304.

Amar Akbar Anthony of Spin Department

When the England car derailed on the ground of Cuttack or the work of braking on their run train, he/she was the Indian spinners. Varun Chakraborty, playing his/her first match, spoiled England’s first start. Varun did the work of breaking the partnership of English openers who added 81 runs in 11 overs. England again gave the second blow to Ducchk by Jadeja. The third and decisive turn in the match came when Jadeja dismissed Root. The three spinners dominate the field in this way, which you can guess from these figures. Indian spinners bowled some 26 overs and gave 121 from an economy of 4.65 and took four wickets. The fast bowlers conceded 183 runs in the remaining 24 overs and their economy was 7. 62.

Spinners dominated the series

In the first ODI too, three spinners were played, just the difference was that Kuldeep Yadav played there and Varun Chakraborty in Cuttack. In Nagpur, spinners bowled a total of 33 overs and gave just 117 runs from the economy of 3.54 and took 5 wickets. Now, if you add the figures of spin bowlers in both Cuttack and Nagpur, it will be clear that the format has changed for the English batsmen, not the fear of spin. In both the matches, Spin conceded 238 runs bowling 59 overs and took 9 wickets with an economy of 4. The final match of the series is in Ahmedabad where these figures can be better.
