Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil were not the first choice for ‘Pushpa’, know who they were


Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is all set to release in theaters today on 4th December in Hyderabad and on 5th December across the world. However, according to reports, Allu Arjun, Rashmika and Fahadh were not the first choices for ‘Pushpa’. Director Sukumar wanted to take someone else instead of these three, but for what reason things did not work out and who was the first choice in place of these three, let us tell you. According to the report of ‘Money Control’, Sukumar, director of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ Initially they wanted to cast Mahesh Babu as Pushpa Raj. However, Mahesh Babu refused to do so, being hesitant in making such a big change in himself and playing a character with gray shades. After this, Allu Arjun was approached for the role and the rest is history.

Samantha had rejected the role of ‘Srivalli’

Allu Arjun also won the National Award for his/her performance in this film and became the first Telugu actor to receive this honour. Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu set the screen on fire with her dance moves on the song Oo Antava in the film. However, according to the same report, Samantha was earlier offered the role of Srivalli in the film but she turned it down as the actress did not want to play a village girl on screen after ‘Rangasthalam’. That movie was also directed by Sukumar. Then this role was offered to Rashmika Mandanna and she too was impressed.

Fahadh Faasil was not the first choice of ‘Pushpa’

Sukumar had reportedly offered the role of villain SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the film to Vijay Sethupathi, before Fahadh Faasil. However, due to his/her busy schedule, actor Vijay could not find time for Sukumar’s film and the movie went to FF.
