All -party meeting, discussion on budget issues … President’s address, what is preparation about budget session, know

New Delhi : The government called a meeting of leaders of all political parties on Thursday before the budget session of Parliament. The session will begin on Friday with the President’s address in the joint meeting of both the houses and the budget will be presented on February 1. President Draupadi Murmu will address both houses of Parliament on Friday. Murmu will address a joint meeting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha at 11 am on Friday. With this, the budget session will begin. The Union Budget will be presented on February 1.

The first phase will end on 13 February

The first phase of the session will end on 13 February and the second phase will begin on 10 March. The session will end on April 4. Earlier, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh presided over this meeting. The meeting is called to inform political parties about the government’s legislative agenda and to get information on the issues raised by them during the session.

The meeting was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party President and Union Minister JP Nadda, Gaurav Gogoi of Congress and Jairam Ramesh, TR of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Several leaders including Balu, Sudeep Bandyopadhyay of Trinamool Congress and Derek O Bryan participated. The meeting was attended by 52 leaders of 36 parties. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Reijiju also attended the meeting.

BAC will decide on budget session issues

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday urged all parties to ensure that the budget session of Parliament was meaningful. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs also said that the work advisory committee (BAC) will decide on issues on which the issues will be discussed. Rijiju said that party leaders raised some issues and demanded a discussion on those issues. The Working Council Committee (BAC) will decide which issues will be discussed. When asked about the demand of the opposition to discuss the stampede in Mahakumbh, the minister said that the decision will be taken by the BAC.
