That’s why hearing stops

Sensorineural hearing loss occurs when the auditory nerve of your ear gets damaged. In 90 percent of cases, the person stops hearing. Sometimes this problem can be due to loud noise, genetic or aging. Actually, the cochlea is an important organ in our inner ear, which has small hairs on it. These are called stereocilia.

These hairs convert the vibrations coming from the sound waves into neural signals. Exposure to sound louder than 85 decibels damages these hairs. Let us tell you that until 30-50 percent of the hair is not damaged, you do not feel hearing loss.
