Alia Bhatt is suffering from serious illness since childhood, getting help from daughter Raha, symptoms are not going away even at the age of 31.


Actress Alia Bhatt has revealed that she is struggling with ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). Because of this disease they have difficulty living in the present moment. Alia, who is getting praise for her performance in the film ‘Jigra’, told in an interview that since childhood, her attention used to get distracted during conversations, but she did not know that she had ADHD.

Alia said, ‘I used to be zoned out since childhood. I used to get distracted in class or during conversations. Recently, I took a psychological test and found out that I am high on the ADHD spectrum. Whenever I told my friends about it, they’d say, ‘We always knew.’

Alia Bhatt told that there are very few moments in her life when she feels completely present. One of them is when she is with her daughter Raha. She said, ‘I understood why I remain calm in front of the camera. I am most present in that moment. Whenever I am in front of the camera, I exist as the character I am playing. Apart from this, when I am with Raha, I am most present. These are the two moments in my life when I remain most calm.
