Later she did many films and earned fame, but suddenly said goodbye to the film industry and married actor Siddharth Ray. After marriage, she left her career and started taking care of the family. But now Shantipriya regrets leaving Bollywood. She recently talked about this in an interview. Shantipriya started her acting career at the age of 19. Apart from Bollywood, she also worked in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films. But after marriage, she distanced herself from acting. However, in the year 2008, she returned to the world of TV and did some shows.

‘Please don’t leave the industry, it is difficult to come back’

Shanthi Priya said, ‘Don’t leave the industry, it is very difficult to come back. I still feel that I should not have left Bollywood, because I felt that I did not value my work. Now that I am focusing on my comeback, what I am doing now, I did not do that when I was a newcomer. So my advice to all those newcomers who get married but do not leave the industry is. But if you want to leave the industry then think twice.’
