Telecom company Bharti Airtel on Wednesday announced the launch of its state-of-the-art 5G services in Lucknow. The company is rapidly expanding its network to provide services across the city. Airtel’s 5G services are currently available in select locations including Gomtinagar, Hazratganj, Aliganj, Aishbagh, Rajajipuram, Aminabad, Jankipuram, Alambagh and Vikas Nagar in Lucknow.
Service will be expanded in a phased manner
Bharti Airtel (Uttar Pradesh) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sovan Mukherjee said in a statement that Airtel 5G Plus services will be made available to customers in a phased manner. Currently, these services can be availed on 5G enabled devices without any additional charges. Airtel customers can access super-fast network with speeds that are 20-30 times the speed of 4G, he added.
