Agra: Young cricketers Deepak Chahar and Rahul Chahar from Agra, Uttar Pradesh have once again brought glory to the city with their performance in IPL 2025. Both players received huge bids in the mega auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Deepak Chahar will be a part of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025. Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar was bought by Mumbai Indians for a huge amount of Rs 9.25 crore. his/her base price was two crores. In the auction, Mumbai left behind Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings and made him/her a part of their team.

Deepak earlier played for Chennai Super Kings, but due to poor performance last season, he/she was not retained. Rahul Chahar has been retained by Hyderabad for Rs 3.20 crore. his/her cousin Deepak Chahar will play for Mumbai Indians in this IPL. Rahul’s last season was excellent, due to which the franchise decided to retain him/her.

Another young player from Agra, Dhruv Jurail has also confirmed his/her place in IPL 2025. he/she will field on behalf of Rajasthan Royals.
