Agniveers will get reservation in Haryana government jobs, CM Nayab Saini’s big announcement

10% quota for Agniveer in government jobs in Haryana: Agniveers will be given reservation in government recruitments in Haryana. On Wednesday, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini made several big announcements to benefit Agniveers in the state. he/she said that the youth who have been Agniveers in the Indian Army will be given reservation in Haryana. Government Job Up to 10% reservation will be given in Group C recruitment. 5% reservation will be given in the state government’s Group C recruitment.

Along with other announcements including interest-free loans for Agniveers, CM Nayab Singh Saini has made the biggest announcement regarding government jobs in the state. It has been said that Agniveers will be given 10 percent reservation in jobs like Haryana Police Constable Recruitment, Mining Guard Recruitment, Forest Guard Recruitment, Jail Warden, SPO. While 5 percent posts in Group C will be reserved for Agniveers.

Haryana Group C, D Jobs: Age Limit Relaxation

CM Naib Singh Saini has also said that Agniveers will be given relaxation of up to 3 years in age limit in Group C and Group D jobs in Haryana. Highlights of the announcements made by CM Saini-

• The first batch of Agniveer will be given 5 years relaxation in the maximum age limit.
• Agniveers will be given 5 percent horizontal reservation in direct recruitment to Group C civil posts.
• 1 percent horizontal reservation will be given in Group B recruitments.
• If any industrial organization employs an Agniveer with a salary of Rs 30,000 or more, then the government will provide a subsidy of Rs 60,000 per annum to that industrial unit.

It is worth noting that a few days ago, Central Security Forces like CRPF, BSF had also announced 10 percent reservation for Agniveers. According to the heads of these organizations, 10 percent posts will be reserved for the youth who have served in the army as Agniveers in all the upcoming CRPF, BSF recruitments. There will also be relaxation in the upper age limit.
