After winning the IPL, Shreyas Iyer will be seen playing for this team, Sarfaraz Khan will be the captain

Mumbai Indian team’s Shreyas Iyer will play one match for Mumbai in the upcoming Buchi Babu tournament starting at four places in Tamil Nadu. Iyer will be available for Mumbai’s second round match to be played in Coimbatore from 27 to 30 August. Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav will also play in this match. Both will play under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Khan. Recently Iyer made KKR the IPL champion.

Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) joint secretary Deepak Patil said in a press release, “Shreyas Iyer will play for Mumbai in the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament organized by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. he/she will play against Jammu and Kashmir in Coimbatore from August 27. Iyer has returned to the Indian team from the ODI series against Sri Lanka this month.

Teams from Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Hyderabad, Bengal, Mumbai, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat along with TNCA XI and TNCA President’s XI will participate in the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament. This tournament, played in red ball format, will be held in Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Salem and Natham. Test specialist Sarfaraz Khan has been made the captain of the Mumbai team.
