After visiting all the houses, I came back with heaps of Soan Papdi, instead of throwing them away, it is better to make dishes like Kachori and Custard.

On Diwali and Bhai Dooj, people must have tasted many types of sweets including Kaju-Katli, Rasgulla, Balushahi, Gulab Jamun. But among the sweets, there is one such sweet which is more famous for making rounds of homes during festivals than becoming a taste in anyone’s mouth. Even many memes have been made on social media regarding this, which become most viral on Diwali and people also share them with pleasure.

Perhaps by now you must have understood that we are talking about Sonpapadi. During festivals, the packet of Sonpapadi travels from door to door and reaches back to your home. After Diwali, when it piles up, we don’t know what to do. In such a situation, we are telling you about some special dishes made with the help of Soan Papdi. By making these, you can settle the Soan Papdi and enjoy it.

Soan Papdi Custard Powder

To make custard from leftover Soan Papdi, you will need one cup Soan Papdi, 2 cups milk, dry fruits, cardamom powder. Now put the Soan Papdi sweet in the mixer and crush it well. Apart from this, pour milk in a pan and boil it. After boiling, add soan papdi, cardamom powder, sugar and dry fruits to the milk. Sugar is an option here because Sonpapadi is already thick.
