After three consecutive defeats, the voice of change was raised again, G23 should not become active in Congress again.

The voice of major change within the Congress has been rising for the last several months. The party leadership has hinted about this on several occasions before. But the reality is that no major change has been seen in the party yet. But now the voice of change has started rising loudly from within the party. A large section of Congress leaders are waiting for the meeting to be held in Bengaluru next week. A meeting is to be held there on 26th December. If change does not happen immediately after that, the party’s old headache, the G23 group, may become active once again. However, this time there will be other leaders in this G23. These leaders allege that due to lack of decisions within the party, workers are now feeling uneasy. This group of leaders is warning the party that if major decisions are not taken now, these workers will start looking for new options for themselves. If this happens, the path ahead will become more difficult for the party. The Congress leadership has also started realizing this and is preparing to present the blueprint for change soon. In fact, the entire process of change is coming to a halt at an important point. The challenge of what kind of change should be made in this most important post of the party and who should be kept there remains the biggest obstacle.

New book, new headache

New books have often been giving headaches to Congress. Senior party leader Mani Shankar Aiyar came out with his/her book, in which he/she raised many serious questions. However, there was no significant discussion on his/her questions. The party did not expect him/her to raise such questions in his/her book. Now there is talk that another senior leader of the party is coming with his/her book. It is being said that there is a lot of political spice in it. The party leadership is trying to find out the contents of the book.

Earlier, during the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, former Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had brought the book. In this, he/she wrote such a thing, which gave BJP full material to attack Congress in Kashmir. Even in 2014, a book written by an advisor to PM Dr. Manmohan Singh had created a political uproar and caused huge losses to the party. Taking a dig at this trend, a Congress leader said that this is why BJP does not allow its leaders to write.

who said, who didn’t

There was a dilemma in the party till the last moment regarding which speaker would participate from the Congress side in the discussion on the Constitution in the Lok Sabha. The biggest dilemma was about whether both Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should participate in the debate on the Constitution or not. One section believed that both should not speak in a debate. But the second argument came that as the leader of opposition, Rahul Gandhi will now participate in almost every debate, in such a situation it would not be right to keep Priyanka Gandhi away on this basis. Obviously, the second argument won and finally Priyanka Gandhi was brought into the debate.

MP in dilemma

These days there is a lot of discussion about the next step of the MPs of two regional parties. There is confusion about the Rajya Sabha MPs of one party after the Lok Sabha elections, while there is confusion about the Lok Sabha MPs of the other party after the recent assembly elections. Various types of discussions are being raised about them and it is being said in hushed tones that they may change sides if they get a chance. After such discussions have arisen, the leadership of both these parties have also become alert.

During the Parliament session, an attempt was always made to show the MPs of both the parties together. They were brought together on one pretext or the other, so that the message could be sent that everyone is together and the news of separation is baseless. But according to internal discussions, even if everything appears to be fine on the surface, there is truth in the rumor. MPs of both the parties are apprehensive about their future and are exploring various options for themselves. A party MP said that they are standing at such a crossroads where they do not understand the way forward. he/she admitted that he/she is not able to understand anything right now and he/she himself does not know what steps he/she will take tomorrow.

Homework spoiled the plan

Many central government ministers and BJP leaders were feeling some relief at the end of the year. Some of these ministers had also decided to tour abroad so that they could get some relief from the fatigue that has been going on for the last one year. he/she says that the last one year turned out to be very stressful due to the assembly elections in three states, followed by the general elections and then the assembly elections.

In such a situation, everyone planned to take a short break immediately after the current session of Parliament. But at the last moment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a new homework to many ministers and leaders to communicate to the people. Everyone knows that when PM Modi gives any homework, he/she also takes the report on it after a few days. In such a situation, now everyone is in a dilemma whether to take a short break first, or leave after completing the homework. However, some leaders and ministers have taken permission to take a short break.
