The heroes of Team India’s victory were Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh during bowling, who destroyed the batting order of Ireland with their sharp bowling. During batting, Rohit Sharma scored a half-century and did not give Ireland any chance to make a comeback. Ireland lost 8 wickets for 50 runs
Batting first, the Ireland team could not bat for the full 20 overs. The team was all out for 96 runs in 16 overs. At one point it seemed that Ireland would not be able to score even 60 runs in the match. The team lost eight wickets for just 50 runs. Gareth Delany, who came to bat at number 7, saved the team’s honour. Ireland’s lowest score in the T20 World Cup is 68 runs. Gareth Delany played a quick innings of 26 runs in 14 balls in this match. he/she made a partnership of 27 runs with Josha Little for the ninth wicket. Number 9 batsman Little himself contributed 14 runs in 13 balls. With the help of which Ireland somehow scored 96 runs.
