After playing a detective in ‘Shekhar Home’, KK Menon is back as a dreaded gangster in ‘Murshid’, releasing on this day

After giving a tremendous web series like ‘Shekhar Home’, actor KK Menon is now going to be seen in another great series, named ‘Murshid’. The makers recently released its first look poster, in which actor Tanuj Virwani is also seen along with KK Menon. This web series was announced in the year 2021. While KK Menon played the role of a detective in ‘Shekhar Home’ released on the OTT platform Jio Cinema, he/she will be seen in a dreadful role in ‘Murshid’. ‘Murshid’ will be streamed on OTT platform Zee5 on August 30. The makers have shared its poster on Instagram and wrote, ‘Yeh Bombay hai meri jaan, aur yahan sartaaj-e-Bambai aka Murshid bhai ka coin chalata hai.’

Cast of ‘Murshid’ and role of Kay Kay Menon

Apart from Kay Kay Menon and Tanuj Virwani, Zakir Hussain, Anang Desai, Vedika Bhandari and Rajesh Shringarpure will be seen in this series. This is a gangster-drama, in which Kay Kay Menon has become a gangster. his/her look looks quite dangerous. In the poster of ‘Murshid’, he/she is seen with long hair, white beard, and a pistol in his/her hand. Tanuj Virwani will be in the role of a police officer. The makers have not yet revealed the storyline of ‘Murshid’, it is just known that the story of this gangster-drama will revolve around Mumbai.

‘Murshid’ is directed by Milan Luthria. Earlier, he/she had made two films based on Mumbai gangsters. These were ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara’. he/she had also directed a series called ‘Sultan of Delhi’.
