After NEET, now there is a ruckus over CUET! Complaints of many errors in the answer key, NTA may conduct a re-test

CUET and News Today in Hindi : The issue of NEET and UGC NET is not over yet and NTA is again seen to be caught in the circle of irregularities in the examination. Now the matter is of Common University Entrance Test i.e. CUET UG 2024. Students are already CUET People are complaining to NTA about the irregularities in the CUET Answer Key 2024. Now many cases of mistakes are coming to light in CUET Answer Key 2024. One student even said that 80% of NTA’s CUET answer key is wrong.

CUET UG 2024 Answer Key: 80% of answers wrong?

A student wrote on Twitter that when he/she compared his/her Geography OMR sheet with the answer key, he/she was shocked because the answer key was wrong up to 80 percent. When he/she calculated his/her marks, he/she was getting 26 marks, whereas he/she should have got 122 marks. This student claims that his/her 17 other questions are correct, but there is a mistake in the answer key.

Similarly, many other students are also complaining about mistakes in the CUET UG 2024 answer key. Teachers also say that they have matched the answers with the NCERT syllabus. NTA’s answer key is wrong.

NTA said- you can challenge CUET answer key

This is the provisional answer key of CUET. If you find something wrong in it, NTA has asked to file an objection. Today, July 9 is the last date for CUET 2024 Key Challenge. But to challenge each question, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 200. This fee is non-refundable. That is, even if the challenge is correct, your money will not be refunded.

Now the question of the students is that they can challenge the answers which they object to. But they will have to pay a hefty amount to challenge so many wrong answers.

Will there be CUET Re Exam?

NTA has said in its notice that till June 30, many students have complained about some problems regarding CUET. All of them are being investigated. For those who are found correct, CUET exam can be conducted again. CUET retest date will be from July 15 to July 19, 2024.
