After ‘Kanguva’, Surya is now coming to make a blast in this avatar, shooting of new film begins

Director Karthik Subbaraj and actor Surya have started shooting for their film. The title of this film is not yet decided, but it is tentatively named ‘Suriya 44’. Both the actor and the director shared the video and announced the start of the shooting. Fans got excited to see Surya in a retro look in this film. Suriya shared the video on Twitter (formerly Twitter) and wrote, ‘Lights! Camera!! Action!!! #LoveLaughterWar #EkarthikSubbarajpadam shooting in progress…’ Karthik said that this was his/her first shot for the film.

The video begins with Surya’s back to the camera and he/she is looking at the sea with a suitcase. As the camera zooms in, he/she turns back and signals the camera to come closer with a sarcastic laugh. In the video, Surya is wearing a colorful striped shirt. he/she is sporting a long mullet and Fu-Manchu style facial hair.

Karthik announced the rest of the cast of ‘Suriya 44’ on X. he/she announced that Pooja Hegde is the lead actress of the film. Apart from her, the film will also feature Jayaram, Karuna Karan and Joju George. ‘Suriya 44’ will have music by Santosh Narayanan and cinematography by Shreyas Krishna.
