After Brunei, he/she will go to Singapore… Know the complete schedule of PM Modi’s foreign trip

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Brunei and Singapore in the first week of September. The Ministry of External Affairs gave this information on Friday. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal announced in a press conference that Prime Minister Modi will visit Brunei on 3 and 4 September. he/she said that this will be the first bilateral visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Brunei. Jaiswal said that this visit is taking place on the occasion of the completion of 40 years of the beginning of diplomatic relations between India and Brunei. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Modi will travel from Brunei to Singapore. he/she will visit that country at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Singapore. PM Modi will be on a visit to Singapore on 4-5 September.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has informed that, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Brunei on 3 and 4 September 2024 at the invitation of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. This will be the first bilateral visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Brunei. After this, the Prime Minister will visit Singapore on 4 and 5 September 2024 from Brunei at the invitation of Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.’

‘I have received an invitation from Pakistan’

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “Yes, we have received an invitation from Pakistan for the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) meeting. We have no update on this. We will update you on the status later.” Pakistan on Thursday formally confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting to be held in Islamabad in mid-October. Last year, then Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited India for the SCO Foreign Ministers’ meeting.
