New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party is going to launch its national membership campaign across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the BJP’s National Membership Campaign- 2024 on Monday evening in Delhi. This program has been named ‘Sangthan Parv Membership Campaign-2024’. In the program organized at the BJP’s central office, the party’s national president and Union Minister JP Nadda will start his/her campaign by making Prime Minister Narendra Modi the first member of the party. PM Narendra Modi will become a member of BJP again through a missed call on the party’s toll free number.

After this, many other party leaders will also be made to join BJP again. With this program in New Delhi, BJP’s membership campaign will start across the country. BJP has also released a missed call number – 8800002024 to make people members of the party through the missed call campaign. People can also join BJP through the Namo app.

‘The Prime Minister has lived by the message that organisation comes first’
Addressing the launch event of BJP’s ‘Sangathan Parv, Membership Campaign 2024’, BJP President J.P. Nadda said, “Prime Minister Modi, being the Pradhan Sevak of the country, is busy with the details of administration. Despite this, he/she has always lived by the fact that the organization comes first. Therefore, whenever the organization has needed, he/she has worried about taking the party forward by giving priority to the organization even in his/her busy schedule. I congratulate him/her.”

Party membership is renewed every 6 years
Let us tell you, before this, BJP’s National General Secretary and Convener of the National Membership Campaign of the party Vinod Tawde had informed the media about this campaign at the party headquarters a few days ago and said that according to the BJP constitution, everyone is made a member of the party again after every 5-6 years. During the Corona crisis, this membership campaign could not run in a limited way, but now from September 2, the party is going to start its membership campaign (Sangthan Parv) again across the country. Tawde also told that till the year 2014, the Communist Party of China used to be the largest political party in the world, but in 2014, when 11 crore members became members of BJP, after that BJP became the largest political party in the world.

‘BJP is the only party that renews membership’
Addressing the launch event of BJP’s Sangathan Parv, Membership Drive 2024, Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah said, “Our party is not only the largest party in the world but is also a unique party among political parties. No political party conducts a membership drive every 6 years in a democratic way. BJP is the only party we are proud of.”

Target to make 10 crore people members
The party’s goal right now is to make more than 10 crore people members of the BJP. This membership drive will be run later in the states where elections have been announced. This will lead to a further increase in the total membership of the party later. According to BJP officials, during the tenure of former president Amit Shah as national president, 11 crore people had joined the BJP in 2014-15. In the membership drive run in the year 2019, 7 crore people participated, which means that by 2019, about 18 crore people had become members of the BJP.
