After AIIMS Patna and RIMS Ranchi, two MBBS students from Bharatpur Medical College were arrested, CBI took a big action in NEET paper leak case

New Delhi : After AIIMS Patna and Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Ranchi, the CBI’s investigation in the NEET-UG paper leak case has now reached Bharatpur Medical College in Rajasthan. Two MBBS students of this medical college were also involved in the gang that solved the leaked NEET paper. Along with them, another accused named Shashikant Paswan alias Shashi alias Pasu has also been arrested. he/she has studied electrical engineering from NIT Jamshedpur.

CBI has also called him/her one of the masterminds of the paper leak case. Along with this, CBI has arrested 23 accused in this case so far. Earlier also, CBI had called Rakesh Ranjan alias Rocky, who was caught near Patna on July 11, and after that civil engineer Pankaj Singh, as kingpins in this case. Now in the latest arrest made on Saturday, Shashikant has been caught near Patna. he/she has been called an important partner of Rakesh Ranjan alias Rocky and Pankaj Aditya, who were caught earlier in this case. he/she was involved in plotting to leak the paper and also got the paper leaked.

However, in the case of paper leak, Bihar Police had earlier claimed that the NEET paper was leaked on the evening of May 4. The paper was solved in Hazaribagh and Patna on the night of May 4-5. Sources say that there is a possibility that not 25 to 30 but more students were made to memorize the paper at these centers. More medical students may be arrested in this case. While an important accused named Sanjeev Mukhiya is still absconding. In this case, Bihar Police had claimed to have leaked the paper on the late evening of May 4. While the CBI is claiming to have solved the paper on the morning of May 5.
