Afghanistan’s big win over South Africa, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a century, won the series


New Delhi. An ODI series is being played between South Africa and Afghanistan. The second ODI was played on 20 September. In this match, South Africa had to face defeat by 177 runs against Afghanistan. Afghanistan’s dashing opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a brilliant century innings.

Afghanistan captain Hasmatullah Shahidi won the toss and decided to bat first. Which proved to be beneficial for his/her team. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Riaz Hasan came out to bat first from Afghanistan’s side. Riaz got out after scoring 29 runs. But Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s bat spoke. he/she played a century innings.

Gurbaz faced 110 balls and scored a total of 105 runs. he/she hit a total of 10 fours and 3 sixes. During this, his/her strike rate was around 95. This was the 7th century of Gurbaz’s ODI career. he/she has now become the player who has scored the most centuries for Afghanistan. Earlier, he/she was tied with Mohammad Shahzad at 6-6.

The first match of the three-match ODI series between Afghanistan and South Africa was played on Wednesday. Here Afghanistan won by 6 wickets. South Africa’s team was all out for just 106 runs. Afghanistan is leading 2-0 in the 3-match ODI series. That means they have won the series as well.
